Basic Properties:

Molecular Formula: C4H6O6  Molecular Weight: 717.1116.    CAS: 87-69-4

White waxy flakes or beads solid, insoluble in water, and can be dispersed in hot water by strong oscillations, water-in-oil emulsifier. Soluble in hot ethanol, benzene, acetone and mineral oil and fixed oils. The freezing point is not less than 54 ℃.

Applications:

The main use for sour agent, resolving agent and pharmaceutical raw materials. For advanced candy, soft drinks and wine in the food industry, but also can be used as preservatives and stabilizers, in the textile industry can be used as a resist dyeing

 

Packaging and storage:

25KG kraft paper bags or 1000KG bag, 20 feet container can hold 20 tons.

Store in an airtight container. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from incompatible substances.
